1. Vikings win again to push into NFC playoff picture

The ultimate prediction that will take place this weekend in Week 13 between Minnesota and Jacksonville is that the Vikings will extend their winning streak and will continue to push their way into the NFC playoff picture.

Minnesota will be able to take advantage of the struggling Jacksonville squad which now features Mike Glennon at quarterback, extending its winning streak to two in a row while having won five of its last six games to get back to the .500 mark at 6-6 overall.

Along with the victory, the Vikings will inch closer to a Wild Card spot in the NFC playoff layout, as they came out of the Week 12 slate of games just one game behind the Arizona Cardinals (6-5) for the final Wild Card spot in the conference.

The thing that will be interesting to keep an eye on is Arizona’s Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday evening. If the Cardinals fall to the Rams, then they would be tied with the Vikings at 6-6 on the year for that final Wild Card spot.

Minnesota still needs to take care of business in Week 13, and it still has some work cut out for it with the likes of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints still remaining on the schedule to round out the season. But with the Vikings topping the Jaguars on Sunday afternoon, they would continue their impressive push to return to the postseason for a second straight year in 2020.
