Jaylen Waddle. 9. player. WR. Alabama. 59. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

(Pick via Houston Texans): Miami has their quarterback of the future in Tua Tagovailoa. Or at least they hope they do. Tua was sidelined recently with a hand injury and while it wasn’t considered anything major, his durability was a major concern coming into the NFL. The good news is, when he was on the field, he looked the part for Miami.

Now with him in place, the Dolphins are able to start putting the pieces around him. Here, they have a top-10 pick thanks to a trade with the Texans which they use on a former target of Tua’s in Jaylen Waddle. He suffered a broken ankle which ended his breakout season but his deep speed will make a great trio when paired with DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson.

BYU. 44. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 10. player. QB. Zach Wilson

Matt Ryan has had a fantastic career which includes one MVP and a trip to the Super Bowl. Had it not been for a couple of questionable calls down the stretch, he could even have a ring from that game. But alas, he’s now known as the quarterback for a team that had the biggest choke of all-time.

That’s unfortunate, as is the way the team fell apart in recent seasons. With Atlanta moving on from Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff, Ryan could be on the way out. If that is the case, taking Zach Wilson here makes a lot of sense. Wilson has emerged as one of the biggest stars in the nation and he’s a steal at No. 10. It won’t be easy to say goodbye to Ryan, but at least they won’t have that awkward and frustrating in-between phase as they did after Mike Vick and before Ryan.
