2021 NFL Mock Draft: Falcons bet on Zach Wilson, Bears tab Trey Lance right after

The Carolina Panthers were off to a good start this season but head coach Matt Rhule and his team have started to fall off. This isn’t too surprising since they’re in the middle of a rebuild. The real takeaway is how well the team has performed under Rhule despite being overmatched and without Christian McCaffrey for much of the season.
In order for them to continue to grow, they need to add more talent and in the high-powered NFC South, it would be a good idea to target someone who can slow down some of the elite receivers. Caleb Farley ends up getting the nod and he will be tested with Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans all playing in this conference. It will be baptism by fire, but Farley is talented enough to handle it.
The New York Giants have invested a lot in their offensive line and it isn’t working. This season, they already showed they will admit a mistake as they used the No. 4 overall pick on Andrew Thomas despite spending big money on Nate Solder. Now, they do something similar as they replace Kevin Zeitler with Wyatt Davis from Ohio State.
Zeitler was a top-tier guard for the Cleveland Browns but hasn’t been a great fit. Davis should make it to where they feel comfortable moving on.
