60. Pick Analysis. IOL. Oklahoma. Creed Humphrey. Scouting Report. 17. player

2020 hasn’t been kind to the Minnesota Vikings. They currently sit with a 5-6 mark which has them on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. Now, they do deserve a lot of credit for the fight they have shown considering they started this season out with a record of 1-5. Since then, they’ve reeled off four wins in five games with their one loss being a confounding defeat at the hands of the struggling Dallas Cowboys.

While it’s hard to pinpoint the one area they need to improve, it’s safe to say they can use an upgrade at left guard. With that goal in mind, they select Oklahoma’s Creed Humphrey here. A center by trade with the Sooners, Humphrey possesses the smarts to play at a different position. His intelligence coupled with his wrestling background makes him an ideal fit in this offense that seeks to beat opponents down with the running game.

Alabama. Christian Barmore. 18. Pick Analysis. DT. player. 28. Scouting Report

The Las Vegas Raiders love Alabama and Clemson players. GM Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden have made no apologies for this and so far, it’s paying off. This team is vastly improved upon their previous two seasons and that means they won’t be changing their approach anytime soon.

With this first-round pick, they again snatch up a player from their school of choice, taking Alabama’s Christian Barmore. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Barmore is a powerful anchor on the Crimson Tide defensive line and will have no problem doing the dirty work for Vegas on their interior. Paired with Maurice Hurst, Barmore would complete their line that Gruden and Mayock have been working hard to rebuild.
