Ifeatu Melifonwu. 6. player. 827. . S. Orange

At No. 186, the Cowboys land the younger brother of Obi Melifonwu, Ifeatu Melfonwu. In three seasons at Syracuse, the younger Melifonwu has 814 tackles and three picks and while he doesn’t have his brother’s collegiate pedigree, he is as versatile as he has played both corner and safety.

Dallas seems intent on picking a safety in the sixth-round every other year so this is their player for the 2021 draft. Hopefully, they will have the position fixed soon enough and this could be the last late-round attempt.

Trey Hill. 6. player. 814. . IOL. Bulldogs

With their second pick in the sixth (No. 219 overall), Dallas improves the depth of their offensive line by taking Trey Hill from Georgia. Hill lines up at center but the 330-pounder is able to move to guard as well. Tyler Biadasz should be the starter in 2021 at center for Dallas, which means Hill could be a reserve center while also giving them a player capable of playing behind

. WR. Sun Devils . Frank Darby. 7. player. 854

Pick No. 225 in the seventh round is the final one for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft and they return to the offensive side of the ball. Here, the choice is Arizona State wideout Frank Darby.

Listed at 6-1 and 200 pounds, Darby doesn’t jump off the screen but he just does a lot of things right. He’s a good route runner who creates separation with his technique more than anything. As a junior, he had his best campaign with 31 receptions for 616 yards and eight touchdowns.

Darby is also a willing run blocker and could be an option to replace Noah Brown as their fifth receiver.
