NFL Power Rankings, Week 14: Patriots keep rising, Eagles near rock-bottom

Play on Tuesday night vs. Baltimore Ravens – To say this season hasn’t gone as planned for the Dallas Cowboys would be an understatement. They came into 2020 thinking they were capable of contending for a Super Bowl. But then they were exposed as a defensive nightmare early in the season and they limped their way off to a 1-3 start. They did finally get to 2-3, but in that fifth game, their season ended as Dak Prescott broke his ankle.
Reserve quarterback Andy Dalton had a great debut as he hit Michael Gallup on a deep pass to set up a game-winning field goal over the Giants but then, the Cowboys went in the wrong direction. They have been completely embarrassed by the Arizona Cardinals, Washington Football Team (twice), and Philadelphia Eagles.
Dallas did hang with Pittsburgh with Garrett Gilbert under center and even won the following game when Andy Dalton returned following a concussion and positive COVID test. Those games proved to be fool’s gold as Washington knocked them off 41-16 on Thanksgiving Day.
Now, they have their Week 13 matchup with the Ravens, which was originally supposed to be on Thursday. That was rescheduled due to some positive tests for Baltimore but now, we get another prime time game — and the Cowboys have another chance at letting their fans down in front of a massive audience.
