Dallas Cowboys: 3 Bold predictions vs. Ravens in Week 13
Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 1: Cowboys pull off a shocking upset
It’s not going to be pretty — nothing about the 2020 season for the Cowboys has been. But in a week in which the NFC East has been busy pulling off big-time upsets with the Giants toppling the Seahawks and Washington ending the Steelers’ hopes of a perfect season, Dallas is going to join the party by handing another AFC North team a loss.
There are undoubted concerns about what America’s Team is going to be able to accomplish on offense in this game. With Zack Martin now out in addition to their litany of other injuries, it’s hard to imagine consistent success from the likes of Ezekiel Elliott or even Andy Dalton. Yet, this team has to fight for something and they’ll claw their way to points just enough.
More importantly, the Ravens offense has given little reason for confidence as of late. Though the Dallas run defense has been shredded this season, Baltimore’s schemes have proven predictable. If defensive coordinator Mike Nolan has his team prepared, he has the horses to slow down the Baltimore attack, as mentioned when talking about Jackson.
The Cowboys come into this game as eight-point underdogs but they won’t just cover the spread, they’ll eke out a win. Either with a late drive for a field goal or a crucial stop of Jackson in the fourth quarter, Dallas will scrape by to pick up the fourth victory of the season.
