DeVonta Smith heads to Detroit in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

It’s hard to believe Week 14 is here. The 2020 NFL season is moving right along and while it seems like not long ago we were worried about whether or not we would have a season, we are already looking at the playoffs as teams are beginning to lock up their spots.

On the flip side, many teams already know they’re playing for the next season. That means the front office personnel on these teams are already looking at moves they can make in the offseason. Of course, we are already doing that as we have been churning out the 2021 NFL Mock Drafts — which we are ready to do once again.

Again, for this mock draft, we will use our latest 2020 NFL Power Rankings, which has a couple of familiar teams coming in at No. 1 and No. 2 with the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars making their choices first — and these might be the two easiest selections in the mock.

player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Clemson. Trevor Lawrence. 1. 30. QB

It’s hard to say too many players in the collegiate world are a sure thing but that’s the case with Trevor Lawrence, and it has been for quite some time. The Clemson quarterback has it all — size (6-foot-6, 220-pounds), arm talent, leadership, you name it. Lawrence can turn any franchise around and the New York Jets will test that theory.

The only real question is what they will do with Sam Darnold. The former No. 3 overall pick was given a bad hand since the Jets not only failed to surround him with talent but they also forced him to work with Adam ‘Crazy Eyes’ Gase. Darnold deserves a fresh start, so that could be something to watch on draft day.

Pick Analysis. Ohio State. 52. player. Scouting Report. QB. Justin Fields. 2

In just about any other draft, Justin Fields would be the consensus No. 1 pick. That’s good for the Jacksonville Jaguars who need a quarterback even worse than the Jets do.

Fields can do it with his arm and legs and should have no problem becoming the face of the franchise in Jacksonville. And maybe even London down the road.
