NFL Power Rankings, Week 15: Packers take top seed, Eagles sparked by Jalen Hurts

Believe it or not, the Dallas Cowboys aren’t dead just yet. Having said that, there’s no way this team is winning their division but their win on Sunday kept them alive in the worst division in sports (yes, in sports, not just the NFL). Dallas won their latest game easily, by a score of 30-7. Andy Dalton has two touchdowns and no picks and the defense had two sacks and three recovered fumbles. There was even a fumble returned for a touchdown from Aldon Smith.
While all of that seems impressive, not too much should be gleaned from it. Dallas won easily but it was against the 2-10-1 Cincinnati Bengals who were being quarterbacked by Brandon Allen. And while they did win with ease, it was only this wide-open due to the mistakes from Cincinnati.
Allen actually played well with 217 yards and a touchdown and the only sacks came late in the game when Allen was injured and Ryan Finley came in. As for the fumbles, this was more of the Bengals losing the ball and Dallas getting lucky — even the Smith touchdown was a fortuitous one as the ball was just sitting on the ground waiting for a Cowboys defender to see it.
In short, they got the win and it was impressive but they might not win again the rest of the season.
