Fantasy football start or sit advice is once again here for you. With 14 weeks in the books, you likely are aware of which players are your weekly starters and who is there just for backup.

Without further ado, here are players that can keep your fantasy football playoff run alive along with a few players who could put up a dud and keep you out of the championship. As always keep an eye on injury reports and news up until kickoff to give your team its best shot at a fantasy football title.

Fantasy Football Starts for Week 15

QB Jared Goff, Los Angeles (vs. NY Jets)

Goff has been anything but reliable this year and has choked in prior tasty matchups like Seattle in Week 10. However, the New York Jets are in full tank mode on track for the first winless season since the Browns in 2017.

Even though, as 17 point favorites, the game could get out of control quickly, I would put my money on the Rams to get their lead through the passing game, as the Jets are actually solid against the run. Fire up Goff as a high upside QB1 in Week 15.

Projection: 310 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 12 rushing yards, 25.6 fantasy points.

RB J.K. Dobbins, Baltimore (vs. Jacksonville)

Dobbins put up a solid performance in Week 14, turning 13 carries into 53 yards and a touchdown. More importantly, he significantly out-snapped and out-touched Gus Edwards and Mark Ingram has been completely phased out.

Even though Dobbins will always lose goal-line looks to Lamar Jackson and Edwards, he should see 15+ rushing attempts in a solid game script against a 1-12 Jacksonville squad and has the talent to turn them into a huge game.

Projection: 98 total yards, 1 touchdown, 1 reception, 16.3 fantasy points.

WR Brandon Aiyuk, San Fransisco (vs. Dallas)

With Deebo Samuel likely done for the season and the myriad of other offensive injuries the 49ers are dealing with, Aiyuk could very well account for a majority of the offensive in the Niners’ Week 15 game against the Cowboys. We saw this in action against Washington in Week 14, with Aiyuk seeing 16 targets in Samuel’s absence.

If he is to see similar volume against the Cowboys, he has could do some serious damage, especially in PPR formats. With another plus matchup in Week 16 against Arizona, Aiyuk has league winner written all over him.

Projection: 10 receptions, 153 yards, 1 touchdown, 26.3 fantasy points.

WR T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis (vs. Houston)

Hilton has experienced a mid-season revival, posting three WR1 weeks in a row after not posting a single top 25 finish the first 11 weeks of the season. Now he gets a matchup with the Houston Texans who Hilton has routinely performed against and who he demolished for 110 yards and a touchdown only two weeks ago. With three weeks of sample size, it is time to accept the new T.Y Hilton, as he could very well bring your team to the championship.

Projection: 7 receptions, 105 yards, 1 touchdown, 20.0 fantasy points.

TE Logan Thomas, Washington (vs. Seattle)

Thomas has been a relatively consistent option in an otherwise terrible tight end landscape these past few weeks, and has seen at least four targets in every single game this season. Even though the quarterback and offensive situation as a whole does not look promising in Washington, Thomas is bound to see a comfortable amount of targets regardless of who is under center. With Seattle likely to have a lead, Thomas has a TE1 floor with decent touchdown upside this week.

Projection: 5 receptions, 62 yards, 1 touchdown, 14.7 fantasy points.

Fantasy Football Sits for Week 15

QB Matt Ryan, Atlanta (vs. Tampa Bay)

After his recent Week 14 disaster, Matt Ryan has now gone four consecutive weeks without posting a QB1 performance. Even though it is a known fact his numbers suffer heavily without Julio Jones in the lineup, Ryan simply can not be trusted anymore regardless of Jones’ health.

Even though Tampa Bay is a solid matchup, their one-dimensional passing offense will be easily solved, as the Falcons are essentially playing without a running back.

Projection: 278 passing yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions, 13.1 fantasy points.

RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kansas City (vs. New Orleans)

Edwards-Helaire saw one of his heaviest workloads of the season in Week 14, turning 21 touches into 91 total yards. However, his overall usage has been trending down and he has yet to show his ability to be a productive rusher against a strong defense. Now he draws a tough Week 15 matchup against New Orleans, who is allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Considering this, Edwards-Helaire needs multiple receptions or a touchdown to post a strong stat line and could hurt you if he is unable to get it going on the ground.

Projection: 68 total yards, 3 receptions, 8.3 fantasy points.

WR Tyler Lockett, Seattle (vs. Washington)

Since his massive three-touchdown, 15-reception, 200-yard game in Week 7, Lockett has only posted one WR1 performance. In fact, he has yet to clear 67 receiving yards in any game since then.

Now he gets a matchup against a tough Washington secondary that is allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Even though Lockett has a respectable floor and has shown his unlimited ceiling, if you have the options you should not be afraid to bench him.

Projection: 6 receptions, 64 yards, 9.4 fantasy points.

TE Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles (vs. NY Jets)

Fantasy managers in desperate need of a tight end may see the matchup with New York and immediately flock to Higbee. However, Higbee is not even the TE1 on his own team, as he has seen fewer targets and has fewer receptions than Gerald Everett.

Even though it may be tempting to start a tight end against the pitiful Jets, Higbee offers you virtually no floor with only ten targets the past three weeks combined. If you are looking for a tight end streamer, you want one that is going to be on the field running as many routes as possible.

Projection: 3 receptions, 35 yards, 5 fantasy points.
