The Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers are two of the NFL’s hotter teams.

Entering NFL Week 15, there are only four teams in the league that have won at least three consecutive games. The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs lead the way with eight straight victories, followed by the Washington Football Team with four consecutive wins. Joining those two clubs are two other first-place clubs with identical win-loss marks.

Both the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers sport 10-3 records and each has won three consecutive games. The former is on the verge of winning its first division championship since 1995. The other wrapped up the NFC North last weekend, its second title in as many years under head coach Matt LaFleur. Both teams are being led by quarterbacks who are enjoying huge seasons.

Buffalo’s Josh Allen has come into his own in this his third year in the NFL. He’s hitting on 68.6 percent of his throws for 3,641 yards and more than three times as many touchdown passes (28) as interceptions (9). Yes, there’s still that issues of those six lost fumbles. But he’s also run for 350 yards and six scores.

Aaron Rodgers has been nothing short of sensational, connecting on just under 70 percent of his passes (69.6) for a similar amount of yards (3,685) but has thrown 11 more touchdown passes (39) and half the picks (4). All told, he has six of the Packers’ nine total turnovers, the latter tied for the lowest number in the league.

On Saturday, the Bills visit the struggling but dangerous Denver Broncos (via ESPN’s Jeff Legwold). Vic Fangio’s club owns a 5-9 record but is a perfect 3-0 vs. the AFC East this season, knocking off the Dolphins at home while beating the Jets and Patriots on the east coast.

Later in the evening, the Pack hosts the 4-9 Carolina Panthers. Of course, perhaps it would be a far more intriguing game if LaFleur’s club and Sean McDermott’s squad were colliding at Orchard Park or Lambeau Field.

In any case, both the Bills and Packers will be in the spotlight on Saturday. That doesn’t mean that the Broncos or Panthers, respectively, should be overlooked. But wouldn’t it be intriguing if these division leaders/champions would both make their way to Tampa in early February?
