45. . . Previous: 24th. Denver Broncos. 26. team

This is probably going to come off more hateful than it’s intended to but there are only one or two teams in the NFL right now that I have less interest in watching than the Denver Broncos right now. On both sides of the ball, this is a team that just looks like they’re ready for the 2020 season to be done with.

Drew Lock and the passing offense were downright bad against the Bills on Saturday in Week 15. He completed 20-of-32 passes but it was all dinking and dunking for the quarterback as he had just 132 yards passing with one score. Moreover, while Melvin Gordon III had a nice game with two scores and 5.5 yards per carry, they weren’t in a position where they could run the ball consistently.

Buffalo’s offense had their way against the Broncos defense. Whether it was Josh Allen airing it out for 359 yards or the Bills running backs each averaging over 6.0 yards per carry, the Denver defense had exactly no answers as they gave up 48 points in the losing effort.

The fact that Denver sits at 5-9 on the season is somewhat remarkable but both the Chargers and Raiders are in a spot where it seems like they should finish with an 11-loss campaign.
