2020 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 17
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) at Indianapolis Colts (10-5)

The Indianapolis Colts got lucky in pulling this matchup in the final week of the 2020 NFL season. They’re set to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that’s lost 14 straight games. Then again, the Jaguars’ last win in Week 1 was against the Colts.
Still, I don’t see any scenario in which the Colts cough this one up. They can’t afford to lose, especially if they plan on making it to the postseason — it’s essentially a must-win after they stumbled against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16. Even then, a win doesn’t guarantee a trip to the playoffs.
With that said, the Jaguars are a beatable team. They were blown out last weekend and obviously aren’t very competitive this season. Even though they aren’t going to miss out on the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, they would love to play spoiler and pull off the season sweep of the Colts.
I’m predicting that doesn’t happen, though. With the playoffs on the line, Indianapolis will be doing everything in their power to avoid this high-potential season evolving into a bust. Philip Rivers avoids turnovers and takes advantage of Jacksonville’s subpar defense, getting the clutch win at home.
Prediction: Colts win 31-21
