1. Season ends with another loss for Atlanta

The ultimate and final prediction that will take place for the Falcons in Week 17 on the road against the Buccaneers is that Atlanta will once again drop a game to round out the year.

There is no question the Falcons have struggled this season and the 4-11 record directly reflects that. As of late, those struggles have intensified while dropping four straight games and five of their last six coming into Week 17 on Sunday.

Although Atlanta did manage to look fairly impressive in the game against Tampa Bay a few weeks ago and the Falcons also put up a solid fight in Week 16 on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs, but both of those games ended up as a losing effort at the end of the contest.

In the regular-season finale this weekend in Tampa Bay, the Falcons’ 2020 campaign will end with a common theme that has carried throughout the year of coming up just short and with a disappointing finish.

With the loss, Atlanta will finish the year at 4-12 overall and losers of five straight, and will have one of the top handful of picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. For the Falcons, it’s now about focusing on who will take over the reigns of the organization in 2021 and beyond and who will be a part of trying to turn things around in the future.
