FanDuel NFL picks, Week 17: Best DFS fantasy football lineup
FanDuel NFL Week 17 Picks and Advice: Tight End
With Travis Kelce ($8,800) likely to be benched, there is no clear TE1 this week. You can not go wrong with any of Darren Waller ($7,800), Mark Andrews ($7,200) or George Kittle ($6,800). Of the three, I think Kittle is the safest as he will be heavily relied upon with both Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk sidelined.
Robert Tonyan ($6,300) is also an appealing option against a Chicago defense that gives up the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. If you want to get even cheaper, Irv Smith Jr. ($5,600) and Mike Gesicki ($5,900) are my two favorite plays as they both have strong matchups and have both been trending up in terms of their targets and production.
FanDuel NFL Week 17 Picks and Advice: D/ST
Defense is one of the few positions that becomes easier in Week 17. With many offenses likely to appear weaker with starters benched, you can take advantage of that with the D/ST pricing. For example, the Los Angeles Chargers ($3,500) are vastly mispriced and a great savings option against a backup Kansas City offense.
The Browns ($4,100) are a bit more expensive but are a better defense against Mason Rudolph and the Steelers. There are plenty of other strong options though, with Minnesota ($3,700) against Detroit being my favorite assuming Stafford sits. The Jets ($3,500) and Cardinals ($3,800) are also two strong options against non-NFL caliber offenses this Sunday.
FanDuel NFL Week 17 Lineup
- QB Kirk Cousins – $7,700
- RB Derrick Henry – $10,200
- RB Melvin Gordon III – $6,800
- WR Justin Jefferson – $8,000
- WR Keke Coutee – $5,700
- WR Nelson Agholor – $5,800
- TE Mark Andrews – $7,200
- FLEX Alexander Mattison – $5,000
- D/ST Los Angeles Chargers – $3,500
This lineup is best suited for tournaments, as it utilizes a stack on the Vikings offense consisting of Mattison, Cousins, and Jefferson. However, this is also certainly a cash viable lineup as well due to Mattison’s extremely low cost. These savings also allow you to expose yourself to top tier players like Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews.
Keke Coutee and Nelson Agholor are certainly riskier plays, but Coutee has at least five receptions or a touchdown in his past four games and Agholor is the clear WR1 on the Raiders offense and has flashed his big-play ability and nose for the end zone all season. Regardless of the lineup you end up choosing, best of luck in your Week 17 FanDuel DFS endeavors and end the regular season with a bang!
