2021 NFL Mock Draft: Justin Fields leaps to Jaguars at No. 1, Dolphins nab Ja’Marr Chase

(Pick via Seattle Seahawks): Back on the clock with their second pick in the opening round is the New York Jets. This is the first of two day one picks New York got in exchange for Jamal Adams and they land a solid player here in Chris Olave.
The Ohio State receiver isn’t one to blow anyone away with any particular skill set but he’s just a well-rounded wide receiver. He’s a player who will carve out a long NFL career and putting him on the same field as Trevor Lawrence — who they landed at No. 2 in this mock — will only help the Jets latest rebuild get off on the right foot.
A Week 17 loss for the Pittsburgh Steelers really didn’t mean a lot. They were facing the Cleveland Browns with many of their starters out and were defeated by just two points. Now, they prepare to face the same Browns in the playoffs with their starters back.
While that should give them some confidence, they did have some concerns pop up in this one. The biggest was their issues blocking Olivier Vernon and Adrian Clayborn who were giving them fits. Clearly, the Steelers need to start fixing their offensive line, which leads to the selection of Northwestern’s Rashawn Slater here.
A stud in the run game, Slater is also capable of holding off edge rushers and should be able to give the Steelers a good blocker for the next decade-plus.
