2021 NFL Mock Draft: Justin Fields leaps to Jaguars at No. 1, Dolphins nab Ja’Marr Chase

The Cincinnati Bengals might have fallen down a few spots in the draft, but their selection remains the same. The teams that leap-frogged them don’t have dire needs at offensive tackle which leaves Oregon’s Penei Sewell on the board for the taking. Sewell opted out of the 2002 season but remains the No. 1 prospect at the position. He had nothing left to prove after his two seasons with the Ducks and doesn’t lose any positioning on draft boards.
For the Bengals, they need to improve the play on their offensive line, especially with Joe Burrow returning from a rough knee injury. He’s a warrior and will be fine, but he’s going to need the help to improve going forward.
There will be some tough questions to answer for the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason with the concerns under center. They benched Carson Wentz for Jalen Hurts and now have to decide which player will be the future. They also have to figure out what to do with their first-round selection as they continue to try and fix their struggling roster.
While it’s tempting to go with a wide receiver, they also have a lot of problems in the secondary — which was seen in their Week 16 loss when Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper had their way with them. For that reason, they add Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain who should instantly improve their pass coverage.
