2021 NFL Mock Draft: Justin Fields leaps to Jaguars at No. 1, Dolphins nab Ja’Marr Chase

The New York Giants made it close near the end of the season as they started to make a move in the NFC East. Of course, they weren’t exactly in a tough division as no team had a winning record. Having said that, the Giants did show a lot of heart as they were in the majority of their games.
On offense, they need a little more firepower. With Saquon Barkley set to return in 2021, they will have a burst out of the backfield, but they need wide receiver help as well. That’s why they take Jaylen Waddle here, who will quickly become their No. 1 target, which is something they need desperately.
There are reports surfacing that the San Francisco 49ers are done with Jimmy Garoppolo and it would be hard to argue against that stance. While Garoppolo was under center for their Super Bowl trip just one season ago, he’s continued to struggle with inconsistent play and durability concerns.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan has a history of getting the most out of his quarterbacks and while there are rumors of him going after Matt Ryan in the offseason, it would also be wise to see him get someone young to groom. That’s where Trey Lance comes in and adding the North Dakota State star wouldn’t even end the Ryan hopes.
Lance is very inexperienced so having him spend time working on his craft might not be the worst idea.
