Scouting Report. Florida. player. Pick Analysis. TE. Kyle Pitts. 17. 32

In Week 17, the Arizona Cardinals were fighting for their playoff lives and they couldn’t get in despite playing against John Wolford and the Los Angeles Rams. Of course, an injury to Kyler Murray was devastating but even when he returned, there wasn’t enough help for Deandre Hopkins.

Arizona looks to remedy that by selecting Kyle Pitts from Florida here. Pitts is a match-up nightmare for defensive coordinators to deal with and should help Murray and the Cardinals’ offense take their next step. Pitts proved this season that he was the best tight end in the nation and should have no problem with his receiving skills transitioning to the next level.

Michigan. 18. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 59. OT. Jalen Mayfield

The Miami Dolphins already got a top-10 pick thanks to the Houston Texans but now they’re back on the board with their own selection in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft. They again focus on the offensive side of the ball, but this time, it’s the O-line. Their choice is Michigan offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield, who is also chosen with their quarterback in mind.

Tua ended the season with one of his worst performances of the year and while adding a play-making wideout earlier in this mock will help, they also need to improve the blocking in front of him. Mayfield lines up on the right side for the Wolverines which happens to be Tua’s blindside. He could fill that role in Miami and allow them to slide Robert Hunt inside where he would be a much better fit.
