Predicting every game of the 2021 NFL Playoffs
NFC Divisional: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5) at Green Bay Packers (1)
Boom! The first major upset of the 2021 NFL Playoffs occurs in the NFC Divisional Round. It’s assumed the Packers will be the cream of the crop come playoff time, but I believe they’re primed for an early upset that’ll cost Aaron Rodgers an opportunity at another Lombardi Trophy.
This game pits two of the game’s best quarterbacks against each other in a battle for NFC supremacy. While the Packers seem like the favorites considering they got a week off and finished with the better record, I wouldn’t underestimate the Buccaneers, who have running like a well-oiled machine in the last month.
Plus, they’ve got Brady. And while he hasn’t been completely himself in 2020 (then again, who really has?), leave it to the GOAT to turn it up to 12 during the postseason. In what could end up being an instant NFL classic, the Buccaneers and Packers take it down to the wire before Tampa Bay takes control in the final few minutes.
Brady gets the ball with the clock nearing zero, and further cements his legacy with a clutch drive down the field. With mere seconds left, he tosses a perfect touchdown pass to Chris Godwin to take the lead and boot the Packers from the playoffs before they even really got going.
Prediction: Buccaneers win 37-36
