NFC Divisional: Seattle Seahawks (3) at New Orleans Saints (2)

With the Packers suddenly out of the picture, the other top NFC teams square off for the right to a home game in the conference championship. Both teams have appeared more than capable of going the distance at times this season, so anything is possible.

In this scenario, though, I’m going with the Saints to steal the show and secure a trip to the next round. The Seahawks have been outstanding for much of this season, but Wilson hasn’t been the same since the first few weeks. Despite a few glimpses of the Russell magic, I’m just not feeling like he’s ready to pull out a miracle in the Bayou.

Brees has another excellent game, putting his best foot forward as he looks to close out his Hall of Fame career with a bang. He gets some help from Kamara, who has been a dynamic weapon all year long for the New Orleans offense. As good as Seattle has been defensively in recent weeks, it’s not enough to slow what the Saints throw at them.

New Orleans holds them off in the final minutes, stopping a last-ditch effort from Wilson to even the score. Brees moves on again, and the Saints get that much closer to earning their first Super Bowl win since 2010.

Prediction: Saints win 29-22
