4. Minnesota Vikings

One of the more surprising disappointments this season was that of the Vikings, who got off to an 0-3 start, which in the end, was too much to overcome. Even with the winless start through three weeks, the Vikings did find themselves in the playoff picture late in the year but when push came to shove, they sputtered down the stretch.

Minnesota usually relied on its stellar defense to help them win games, but the Vikings D was not good this season. Instead, it was up to the offense to lead the team to victory. The defense will need to be addressed this offseason for the Vikings for sure.

Even with their shortcomings in 2020, Minnesota still finished with a 7-9 record and still nearly punched their tickets to the postseason. That’s a testament to how good the offense can be and if the defense really does get a makeover this offseason, Minnesota can most definitely push for the NFC North title.

Oh and rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson is only just getting started. He’ll be a big reason for why the Vikings will be a force to be reckoned with next season.
