Deshaun Watson trade landing spot No. 3: Chicago Bears

Now we’re getting to the three legitimate options where Watson would thrive the most and where the Texans would feel the most comfortable trading him (NFC teams). The Bears have a talented defense, solid weapons in Allen Robinson and David Montgomery, and an offensive-minded head coach in Matt Nagy. Those would all be enticing for the former No. 12 overall pick who isn’t wanting to be apart of a rebuild in Houston.

Funny enough, the Bears could have had Watson in the 2017 NFL Draft, but instead decided to go with Mitchell Trubisky No. 2 overall. If they’re somehow able to trade for Watson, Bears fans would no longer be tortured and wouldn’t have to imagine what Watson would look like in a Bears jersey because they’d have the real image in front of them.

Chicago has proven they’re dedicated to getting better and aren’t afraid to make big trades. They traded for Khalil Mack a few years ago, giving up a king’s ransom to do so, so they’d definitely be willing to give up way more for a player their fans have been aching over.

Watson would turn the Bears, an already decent team, into a Super Bowl contender overnight. Packers fans definitely don’t want to see this happen.
