1. Jacksonville Jaguars

With Trevor Lawrence officially declaring that he’d forego his senior year and enter the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have their quarterback of the future. That right there makes the Jaguars head coaching job the best out of this bunch, but there are other redeeming factors that will come with this job as well.

Jacksonville has another pick in the first round that they can use to either give Lawrence some protection upfront or to help the team out on defense. They also are projected to have the most salary cap space of any team in the league, meaning they can bring in free agents to help Lawrence out in his rookie year and beyond.

Obviously, the Jaguars aren’t a storied franchise and it’ll be an uphill battle for whoever they hire. This franchise was one win shy of making the Super Bowl just three years ago, however, and they have the draft picks and the salary cap space to make some real waves this offseason.

Getting Lawrence would be enough for this job opening to be one of the best, but having the No. 1 pick along with the commodities make it the best head coaching job in the NFL this offseason.
