TRADE: Colts send fourth (No. 123) and seventh (No. 243) picks to Browns for a fourth-round pick (No. 107) – In the simulation, the Browns offered to send their fourth-round pick, 16 selections ahead of the Colts, in exchange for Indy’s pick in the same round and their seventh-rounder. To move up in that spot, it was a no-brainer for me, especially with a player such as Anthony Schwartz available.

Especially with the concerning health of T.Y. Hilton, the Colts could use some more elite speed in the passing attack. A former track star, Schwartz brings that to the table in a substantial way. While he’s not a terrific overall athlete, he could be a vertical threat for the offense to help turn the page at wide receiver for franchise.

Stills is a player who could be extremely useful as a depth piece to build around DeForest Buckner with. He’s been moved around quite a bit throughout his time at West Virginia, highlighting his versatility along the defense line. He’s a strong player at the point of attack with the football IQ to adequately rush the passer and defend the run. Still must become a better conditioned and more technically diverse player to be an every-down player but the obvious role is there for him.

Another area in which the Colts defense could use some depth is off the edge. So with what becomes their final pick of this 7-round mock draft, Indianapolis looks to a project player in Chris Rumph II that has a ton of upside.

Rumph has been explosive and productive throughout his college career at Duke but his lack of size is the glaring issue. NFL teams need to figure out if he can put on weight and remain explosive or if he should transition to another position. But Indianapolis gets a player who has proven he can perform and they’ll look to mold him.
