With injuries at cornerback throughout this season, the lack of depth at the position in Tennessee was evident. Subsequently, they should address that in the 2021 NFL Draft and getting Deommodore Lenoir in the fourth round could be a steal.

Lenoir played both outside and inside while at Oregon and has shown to both be an impressive athlete in addition to packing a punch as a 5-11, 209-pounder with a willingness to tackle. He needs to become a more disciplined player to clean up mistakes in coverage but, overall, his upside far exceeds that of a Round 4 prospect.

Jonnu Smith has flashed big-time moments in Tennessee but has still yet to put together a full season. Rather than surrounding him with stopgap veterans, the Titans should instead look to add another young piece at the position like Kenny Yeboah. The Ole Miss product has limited blocking effectiveness at this point but he proved to be a dynamic and versatile piece in the passing game, something that would further aid the Titans offense.

Dipping back into the EDGE pool, again highlighting the need there, the Titans land Joshua Kaindoh with the first pick in the sixth round. The Florida State product has all the physical tools in the chest but clearly is lacking in his development with his pass-rushing moves and plan as a rusher. However, getting into an NFL locker room, he has enormous potential to be a situational pass-rusher that’s a menace for opposing offenses to deal with.

There is an undeniable need for the Titans to improve their coverage ability in the middle of the field, so adding a linebacker who is capable in that facet of the game is key. That’s where Zach McCloud could wind up being a huge get for them as their final pick in this class.

McCloud struggles in run defense, which isn’t all that shocking for a 6-2, 232-pound linebacker, but he shows great prowess with his movement in the middle of the field. He needs to develop a better feel in coverage but the physical tools for him to be a plus-asset in that area are obvious.
