Pick Analysis. Zach Wilson. 4. player. Scouting Report. QB. BYU. 44

With the Atlanta Falcons moving on from head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff, it’s easy to assume they will start to overhaul the roster. The new general manager and head coach are going to want their guys to come in and that could mean high-priced veterans such as wide receiver Julio Jones and quarterback Matt Ryan could both be on the move. Not only would it give them some assets to build with, but it would free up a lot of cap space.

Of course, the key to being able to move onto these players is having ones in place you can trust. Calvin Ridley has proven he can be the guy at wide receiver with 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns and Russell Gage had a breakout campaign with 786 yards and four touchdowns on 72 catches.

As for the quarterback position, they need someone to take over if they do move on from Ryan, who will be 36 next season and that’s why they take Zach Wilson from BYU here at No. 4. Wilson had a big season in 2020 that catapulted his name up the draft boards as he proved he can be the guy for an NFL franchise. Atlanta would actually be a great landing spot for him as well since he would have more weapons around him than the other two quarterbacks already taken.
