Baltimore Ravens (5) at Buffalo Bills (2)

Saturday, January 16, 8:15PM ET

Before we get too deep into this, I want to say one thing: I’m rooting for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. I’ve loved watching him evolve into one of the league’s most dynamic playmakers, and feel like this Ravens team is absolutely built to contend.

Unfortunately, that would mean knocking off the team I predicted would win Super Bowl 55. Although their Wild Card performance wasn’t as dominant as I had expected, the Buffalo Bills are still one of the scariest teams right now, sporting a high-flying, point-hungry offense and a defense that can be elite at times.

My problem with the Ravens is that their offense can be a bit erratic at times. Some games, they seem to be firing on all cylinders, pushing for rushing yards records while Jackson throws a couple of touchdowns to sweeten the deal. Then the next game, Jackson is flat and the offense suffers as a result.

When it comes to the Bills, Josh Allen seems to be on fire every game. The Buffalo defense isn’t as dominant as the Ravens’ is, but it is more than capable of keeping Jackson from lighting up the scoreboard. This one is close, but Allen leads the Bills to a clutch win to punch their ticket to the AFC Championship Game.

Prediction: Bills win 40-37
