Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are looking the part of the all-time greats, trading dimes in an early shootout between the Packers and Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady are arguably the two best to ever play the position. So with the two all-timers matching up in the NFC Championship Game, the anticipation was palpable. And even right out of the gate with big stakes at play, both players were rising to the occasion.

The Buccaneers started out with the football and Brady made it look easy as he converted three third-down attempts, the final being a touchdown pass to Mike Evans. But it was soon after that when Rodgers would have his say.

After stalling on the early drives for the Packers, the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback in search of his second Super Bowl ring made a big play. With speedy Marquez Valdes-Scantling getting loose down the field against single coverage, Rodgers hit his man for a 50-yard score:

Tom Brady wasn’t about to be outdone, though. When the Buccaneers got the ball back, they were needing a big play on third-and-9 on their own 28-yard line, Brady loaded up and found Chris Godwin deep down the field. And while it was a dime from the signal-caller, the stud wide receiver made a highlight-reel grab to set Tampa Bay up at the Green Bay 20-yard line.

Leonard Fournette was able to cap off the drive with a gorgeous touchdown run that put the Bucs up 14-7 early in the second quarter.
