The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game with a trip to Super Bowl 55 on the line.
In Week 6 of the regular season, the Green Bay Packers went on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and things did not end well for Aaron Rodgers and company. Despite only throwing five interceptions on the year, two of them came in an eventual 38-10 loss to the Bucs. But now it’s time for a rematch, this time in the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers and Tom Brady is the quarterback matchup that football fans could only dream of but the big question will be if the Packers can remedy what happened last time. With Davante Adams now 100 percent healthy, you have to wonder if Green Bay’s offense can continue firing on all cylinders. Moreover, a stout pass defense could possibly harass Brady.
Speaking of Brady and the Buccaneers, they come into this game off a stellar outing against the Saints. The offense wasn’t necessarily terrific but the defense came up big with a number of turnovers that they took advantage of. The hope is that they can accomplish that once again, this time with Super Bowl LV hanging in the balance.

Because of the way the Buccaneers played defensive in Week 6 and last week, the under and the points for Tampa might be the popular play. I’m leaning the other way, however. The first meeting looks like an anomaly for the Packers offense. That means a ton of points and Green Bay in stride at home. Give me the favorite and the over for this matchup.

It feels as though the sharp money is on the visiting Bucs for this game but, at the end of the day, I’m more confident in the way the Packers have been playing, especially with this game in Lambeau.

Rodgers is playing at an unreal level right now and, frankly, his poor outing against the Buccaneers in the regular season looked like a different player. I don’t expect the Tampa Bay defense to be able to have the same level of success and, at the end of the day, Green Bay will win at home in a high-scoring matchup to punch their Super Bowl ticket.
