2021 NFL Mock Draft: Dolphins take Sewell and Waddle, Bills keep building with Jaelan Phillips
By Randy Gurzi
There hasn’t been much good news as of late for Von Miller and even before the recent reports of him being under investigation surfaced, there was already a chance the Denver Broncos could be moving on from him. His age and contract already made that a possibility and that’s all we are going to focus on here with there being so much up in the air.
Denver decides with this top-10 pick to get younger on the edge as they add Georgia’s Azeez Ojulari, who would be a great option for them across from Bradley Chubb. There are still concerns on offense, but the Broncos have seen how an elite pass rush can carry a team that might not be perfect on that side of the ball.
Unless they fail to re-sign Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys should be good on offense in 2021. Of course, there is a position of weakness which is at offensive tackle but they don’t necessarily have to go with that spot here. Instead, they can try and fix their defense which is an absolute nightmare.
With that in mind, they add Caleb Farley from Virginia Tech. He isn’t as polished as Patrick Surtain who is already off the board but he’s more explosive and better at taking the ball away. And when a defense is as bad as the Cowboys, they need that player who can actually swing the game in their favor with a timely pick.
