The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl 55 champs!

For the second year in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs are champions of the NFL!

As great of a storyline as it would be for Brady to win away from New England and Belichick, the Buccaneers simply aren’t as complete of a team. The Kansas City offense overwhelms Tampa Bay, and Mahomes scores too many points for them to overcome.

More importantly, we see a couple of devastating turnovers by Brady down the stretch that dig too deep a hole for the Buccaneers. With every extra opportunity Mahomes and the Chiefs get with the ball, they move that much closer to cementing their status as a budding NFL dynasty.

It’s over minutes before the clock strikes zero. The Buccaneers get one final chance to close the gap and make it a game, but a dropped pass ends their hopes. Mahomes walks his offense onto the field knowing a few kneels will end it all. The celebration for Kansas City begins, while the first home team in Super Bowl history fails to take advantage.

This ending really comes as no surprise, seeing as the reigning champion Chiefs were favored to repeat coming into the 2020 campaign. Mahomes proves his monstrous contract was worth the risk, as Kansas City adds yet another Lombardi Trophy to its collection.

Final Score Prediction: Chiefs win 37-26
