J.J. Watt is the face of the Houston Texans, but he’s voiced his frustrations and wants out. Where could he be traded?

The Houston Texans struck gold when they drafted Wisconsin product J.J. Watt with the No. 11 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Watt is a five-time All-Pro and won Defensive Player of the Year three times. While injuries have affected him in recent years, there’s no debating how great of a player Watt has been.

With the Texans clearly in rebuild mode (even if Deshaun Watson decides to stay), Watt won’t want to go through that again, not when he’s entering his age-32 season. Time is running out for Watt to win a Super Bowl, but he still has some gas left in the tank and can go for a title with a contender. He’s also reportedly expressed his frustrations and could be traded.

If Watt is indeed traded, who are the best options to land his services?

J.J. Watt trade landing spot No. 6: Cleveland Browns

The Browns and Texans have switched places, as the Texans are now the laughing stock in the NFL, a title that the Browns held for years. Cleveland made the playoffs this past season, the first time they had done so since 2002, and even won a playoff game! They still have areas where they need to improve and defense is certainly one of them.

Watt would join the likes of Myles Garrett, Andrew Billings, and Sheldon Richardson along the Browns’ defensive line and that’d be quite the force. Considering how tough Cleveland’s division is, adding Watt upfront could give them one of the best defensive fronts in the league and help slow down the Ravens’ rushing attack.

This would be a nice fit for Watt because the Browns are improving and he’d be able to join a good team looking to go places in 2021. He might not win a ring in Cleveland, but then again, no one saw the Browns winning a playoff game this season, and look what happened.
