If there were ever a model for consistent dominance among offensive linemen, it would be Williams, who for a stretch was easily the top offensive tackle in the NFL.

Williams made seven consecutive Pro Bowls from 2012-2018, before returning to form and making his eighth in 2020.

After forcing a trade from the woebegone Washington Football Team, Williams continues to play at a high level and remains one of the most dominant tackles in the league. According to Pro Football Focus, Williams allowed just four sacks and 19 pressures in 978 snaps in 2020, producing a 91.9 overall grade as the outlet’s No. 1 ranked offensive tackle.

If Williams, 32, strings together three or four more seasons as the NFL’s most dominant and consistent offensive tackle — and so long as he stays healthy there’s little reason to doubt he will in Kyle Shannahan’s system — he’ll pad his Hall of Fame candidacy significantly.
