Derrick Henry’s late-career renaissance has been a sight to behold, and it just might drive him to a Hall of Fame ending.

After a pair of mediocre seasons to begin his career, Henry is fresh off consecutive rushing titles, including a 2,027-yard and 16 touchdown campaign in 2020, setting career-highs in each category. For his efforts, Henry was named a First-Team All-Pro for the first time this season.

Henry’s pair of rushing crowns might already be enough to punch his ticket.

The focal point of the Tennessee Titans’ offense, and arguably the most punishing running back in the NFL, Henry has made back-to-back Pro Bowls.

Henry is one of just eight running backs in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season, with O.J. Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, and Terrell Davis already enshrined in Canton and Adrian Peterson earmarked to join them five years after he retires, which certainly bolsters Henry’s Hall of Fame chances.
