Super Bowl 55: Madden simulation, prediction for Chiefs vs. Buccaneers
Super Bowl 55 Madden Simulation, Final: Chiefs 41, Buccaneers 20
The Kansas City Chiefs are now back-to-back Super Bowl champions!
Considering the commanding lead they had going into the fourth quarter, the outcome was never all that much in doubt. They started the final period with a 28-yard field goal from Harrison Butker but the Buccaneers tried to mount a final comeback.
Unfortunately, their last-ditch effort took up too much time, even if it did end with a nine-yard touchdown pass from Brady to Antonio Brown. The defense then had no final answer for the Chiefs as Edwards-Helaire racked up his remarkable third touchdown of the game, rushing in from 11 yards out to seal the 41-20 win.
While the rookie has his case for Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes is the clear pick there with a 27-of-34, 313-yard and three-touchdown line for the day. Brady did his best with 377 yards, two touchdowns and one pick on 31-of-46 passing but, again, it was all for naught.
The Chiefs run game helped to seal the game with Bell and CEH combining for 31 carries for 141 yards and the two scores for the latter. Tampa, however, stayed ill-equipped on the ground. Brown led the way for the Bucs through the air in the end with eight catches for 122 yards and a score but Kelce dominated for the Chiefs just as well, notching 10 grabs for 112 yards.
So there you have it. Madden NFL 21 has the Kansas City Chiefs winning over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a rout for Super Bowl LV. We’ll have to see if the real thing plays out anything close to that on Sunday night in Tampa.
