Georgia. 16. player. 32. Pick Analysis. Scouting Report. EDGE. Azeez Ojulari

At No. 16, the Arizona Cardinals are on the clock and while they would have loved to see Kyle Pitts last one more pick, they still land themselves a stud here in Azeez Ojulari. The Georgia pass rusher broke out in 2020 with 9.5 sacks and caught the eye of many scouts with his performance.

Cory Kinnan of With the First Pick was especially impressed with Ojulari, saying he has an impressive first step and a “full bag of tricks.” Kinnan even believes the UGA product has a shot at being the top pass rusher in this class.

"“Starting with his first step, Ojulari packs a ton of explosiveness and burst in his back foot, and when lined up as a seven-technique, he has the ability to absolutely blow by offensive tackles without the need for much of a pass rush plan. This, however, does not mean that Ojulari does not have a plan, as he possess a full bag of tricks and nuance as he gets after opposing quarterbacks.” — Kinnan, With the First Pick"

The one thing that can keep Ojulari from being the top edge rusher is his size. At 6-foot-3 and 240-pounds, he’s a better fit as a 3-4 outside linebacker. With the Cards, he can play in that role, which means he should be able to hit his ceiling with them.
