The Tennessee Titans won 11 games last season but it wasn’t done the way we are used to seeing. In recent campaigns, they’ve been efficient on offense but won due to their defensive prowess. This season, their defense headed in the wrong direction, but the offense was finally dangerous.

Ryan Tannehill, who took over after six games the prior season, was incredible for them with 3,819 yards and a 33-to-7 touchdown-to-interception ratio. They also had a great season from A.J. Brown who topped 1,000-yards for the second season in a row and Corey Davis added another 984 — and surely, they hope to bring him back as he hits free agency.

All this passing was great, but it becomes even harder to defend when Derrick Henry is the running back and he goes for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns. Should they continue to perform like this and get better on defense, the Titans could be the easy favorites in the AFC South.

Head coach Mike Vrabel will definitely want to improve on defense which leads to the addition of Texas pass rusher Joseph Ossai. Last season, they went with Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley but neither move worked out. Now, they try and go with the rookie as a second rusher opposite Harold Landry. He should offer more than they got from their free-agent additions a season ago.
