Scouting Report. Jaycee Horn. 26. Pick Analysis. CB. South Carolina. player. 53

There’s a lot to celebrate in the Dawg Pound this season. The Cleveland Browns had their first winning season since 2007 and made the playoffs for the first time since the end of the 2002 campaign. If that wasn’t enough, they also won a postseason game for the first time since 1994 when Bill Belichick was the coach. And if we are being real, that was an entirely different franchise.

Cleveland had more to celebrate after the season ended since first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski won the NFL Head Coach of the Year award for his efforts. Having said all that, none of the players are satisfied.

They know they had a chance at beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round and they know what that could have led to. With that serving as extra motivation, they’re likely going to spend this offseason reloading their roster — especially on defense.

Here, they do exactly that as they spend their first-round pick on South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn. The son of former NFL wideout Joe Horn, Jaycee is super-talented and incredibly confident. He will go toe-to-toe with any wide receiver and would be a perfect complement across from Denzel Ward.

This move alone won’t fix the questionable defense Cleveland had in 2020 but it would do wonders for their secondary.
