2021 NFL Mock Draft, 3 Rounds: Chiefs bolster O-line after Super Bowl loss
By Randy Gurzi
For the second season in a row, the Green Bay Packers fell just one game shy of making the Super Bowl despite posting a 13-3 record. Their 26-6 mark over the past two seasons is impressive but the team isn’t satisfied with that — they want to get back to the big game.
In an effort to do that, the Packers aim to improve their defense here with the selection of Dylan Moses from Alabama. One of the more well-rounded linebackers in the class, Moses is not only experienced but played all three linebacker positions for the Tide as pointed out by Jordan Reid of The Draft Network.
"“Moses is a well-experienced linebacker who has spent time at all three linebacker spots. A hyper-athletic and agile second-level player, he’s a fast-flowing prospect that gobbles up opportunities in space. Moses has an athletic and chiseled upper body that contains extended limbs, but contains plenty of definition on them from top to bottom.” — Reid, The Draft Network"
There will also be calls for the Packers to get more help at wide receiver, which they need to do. The problem is, this mock saw all the top-tier receivers already get selected, and rather than reach, they take Moses here to improve the defense and hope for a wideout to be on the board in the second.
