The Buffalo Bills won the AFC East this season with a record of 13-3 and it was the first time since 2008 that anyone other than the New England Patriots won that division. Sure, the fact that Tom Brady moved to the NFC South and won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers helped but Buffalo might have still won that division even if Brady were there.

Buffalo has been a team on the cusp of breaking out for a while now and they finally started to click on all cylinders this year. The biggest reason for that was the addition of Stefon Diggs who helped Josh Allen thrive this season.

While those two were fantastic together, the Bills defense started to decline this year. They weren’t bad but they weren’t the same team we had seen over the past couple of seasons. And here, Buffalo gets better with the selection of Zaven Collins from Tulsa.

Collins would be able to replace Matt Milano should they lose him in free agency and while he’s a linebacker with a nose for the ball, he’s also 260-pounds and can line up on the line of scrimmage as well if needed. Collins has climbed boards as of late and slides into the back of the first round, but could be a real difference-maker at the next level.
