Wyatt Davis. 31. Scouting Report. IOL. Ohio State. Pick Analysis. player. 124

The Kansas City Chiefs were favored in Super Bowl LIV despite the fact that they were facing Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their own stadium. It wasn’t exactly crazy to think it either as the Chiefs were simply unstoppable all season. That was until they ran into a hungry Tampa Bay defense.

Tampa won 31-9 and it was the most lopsided loss for Patrick Mahomes who had two interceptions and no touchdowns. He was also sacked three times, which is a bit of a misleading stat. Mahomes was under duress all night and was constantly running backward before throwing up a prayer of a pass.

This was due to the struggles on the offensive line for the Chiefs. All season, they have had to shift things around on their offensive line, and due to that, they use their first pick in this three-round mock to try and bolster the line. Wyatt Davis is listed at 6-foot-4 and 310-pounds and is considered a plug-and-play guard.

Davis has a lot of experience and NFL bloodlines as well. He’s good in the running game as well as with pass protection. While adding offensive linemen isn’t often splashy, it usually pays off — especially when you get a player such as Davis who is a sure thing.
