Gregory Rousseau. EDGE. Miami. 32. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 48

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did it. They won Super Bowl LIV over the Kansas City Chiefs and made some history in doing so. Tom Brady and the Bucs ended up being the first team to ever play the Super Bowl at their own stadium and then, they won it there as well. After winning three-straight playoff road games, they were able to win the Lombardi Trophy in their own backyard.

One of the main reasons they won was the play of their defense. Sure, the offense put up 31 points, but holding Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to just nine is no easy feat. The majority of that success was due to the pressure their pass rushers provided and while they had three sacks in the game, there were countless more plays that were blown up by the defensive line.

Ndamukong Suh had 1.5 sacks, Shaq Barrett had another, and Jason Pierre-Paul was in the backfield a lot as well — and had a batted down pass. All three were instrumental in the win and all three are seasoned veterans, meaning the Bucs need to get younger.

Enter Gregory Rousseau from Miami. The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder is a pure pass rusher who would be a great fit in Tampa Bay’s front seven as they transition to a younger core.
