2021 NFL Mock Draft, 3 Rounds: Chiefs bolster O-line after Super Bowl loss

This past season, the Denver Broncos got to work trying to build around quarterback Drew Lock. They added Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler with their first two picks as they looked to take advantage of his strong arm and a great finish to his rookie campaign.
Sadly, things didn’t go as planned. Lock missed a few games and when he did play, he was 4-9 as a starter and took a huge step in the wrong direction. They need to do all they can to get him back on track but maybe they can also help him out by improving the defense to take some of the pressure off of him.
Here, they land Kwity Paye from Michigan to line up on the edge of their defense across from Bradley Chubb who had a decent season with 42 tackles and 7.5 sacks after missing all but four games in 2019. Paye will also likely replace Von Miller, who has been the heart and soul of this defense but enters free agency after missing the entire season due to an injury.
Paye is a great replacement who has an incredibly high ceiling. He’s just starting to get the technique to match the physical traits and could be an even better pro than he was a collegiate player.
