49. . . Previous: 2nd. Green Bay Packers. 3. team

For the past two seasons now, the Green Bay Packers finished with a record of 13-3. Also for the second season in a row, they failed to make it to the Super Bowl as they lost in the NFC Championship Game.

After the loss this season, Aaron Rodgers did what he always does, made a bunch of cryptic remarks that quickly turned the attention away to how their season finished, and instead turned our focus toward his future with the team. The man is a magician on the field and off.

He also won the NFL MVP Award, which was well deserved. However, there’s still some criticism to go around in Green Bay — but it’s not on A-Rod.

Head coach Matt LaFleur is actually the one who made some questionable decisions in their loss as he decided to play it safe as they were battling back from a 21-10 deficit. Instead of going for the tie, LaFleur elected to kick the ball and the Bucs held them off for the win.

LaFleur clearly has a bright future in the NFL and is 26-6 in his first two seasons as a head coach. But he took a lot of heat for this one, and that criticism probably won’t go away until he gets his team over the hump.
