Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ran through the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 55 but which stars stepped up to lead the way alongside the quarterback?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were underdogs coming into Super Bowl LV as the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs were three-point favorites. However, the oddsmakers forgot one very important thing: quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady came out firing on offense and, while Todd Bowles’ defense delivered one of the most dominant performances of the season, it was an all-out dominant effort for the Buccaneers. So now Brady has shed all of the baggage from New England, winning a Super Bowl in his first season with his new team.

Make no mistake, the quarterback was an integral part as to why the Buccaneers were able to take hold of the Lombardi Trophy. However, he wasn’t alone. So let’s take a dive into Brady and the rest of the Bucs stars who helped lead the way to a title with standout performances on Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers star No. 5: Tom Brady, QB

When you just look at the box score, you might not be overly wowed by what Tom Brady was able to do en route to winning his record-setting fifth Super Bowl MVP award. He finished the game going just 21-of-29 for 201 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

However, it was how Brady put that stat line together that was so impressive. To be sure, it wasn’t anything surprising given the history of the 43-year-old in the Super Bowl. But it was terrific to watch him continuously look unfazed against big moments and pressure and step up.

Despite he and the Buccaneers being underdogs, he was ready for the moment and came out firing. He torched the Chiefs right from Jump Street and set an unforgettable tone that eventually led to a Tampa Bay victory.
