Orlando Brown Jr. trade landing spot No. 2: Dallas Cowboys

Offensive line play and talent has always been a point of pride for the Dallas Cowboys. So it was incredibly disheartening to watch that unit this past season. With La’el Collins missing the entire season and Tyron Smith missing most of it, the line was a troublesome area all year long.

For as good as Smith has been throughout his career, the veteran has struggled to stay on the field over the past few years. That’s something that the Cowboys can’t ignore and, if they’re wanting to be aggressive, that could pave the way for a trade.

Brown would undoubtedly slot right into the powerful front that Dallas has at full strength and could come in to be the heir to Smith with the veteran likely being cut or traded in his own right. In any case, adding Brown would put the Cowboys back in contention for the best O-line in the NFL.

Orlando Brown Jr. trade landing spot No. 1: Indianapolis Colts

Perhaps no landing spot for Orlando Brown Jr. makes more sense than the Indianapolis Colts. Yes, they are another team that has questions to answer at quarterback but they are also a team with plenty of options. More importantly, though, the quarterback won’t matter quite as much if they don’t keep their offensive line dominant, which is in question with the future of left tackle Anthony Castonzo in doubt.

Subsequently, the Colts could be aggressive to fill that hole by trading for Brown. He would fit into the mauling type of play that Indy likes in the trenches and also in the mold of the franchise being aggressive to get playmakers, as evidenced by trading for DeForest Buckner last offseason. All told, Brown could continue to set the Colts up for long-term success.
