There was actually a time when Allen Robinson almost signed with the Packers back in 2018. Instead, he decided to sign with the Bears and Green Bay signed tight end Jimmy Graham. Now, Graham remains on the Bears while Robinson is set to hit free agency.

Could the Packers have their eye on Robinson again? Still just 27 years old, the former Jaguar is one of the NFL’s most underrated receivers. He’s never played with an elite quarterback and would have an excellent chance to chase a ring in Green Bay. While he may have made the wrong decision, he still had three very productive seasons in Chicago, racking up over 3,000 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Of course, receiver has been a position Packers fans have wanted the team to address for three years running. Davante Adams is a bonafide star, but after him, there’s not much to get excited about. Allen Lazard is a decent No. 2, but will he ever be much more than that?

Together, Adams and Robinson would form the NFL’s best receiver duo. No longer would teams be able to shift coverage toward Adams. We might be able to pencil in Aaron Rodgers for his fourth MVP if this were to happen.
