Terry Bradshaw is either a wizard, Nostradamus or the subject of extreme coincidence having checked into a hospital under the name “Tom Brady” in 1983.

Before Tom Brady entered the NFL, Terry Bradshaw was the winningest quarterback in Super Bowl history. Eventually tied by Joe Montana, the now-FOX Sports NFL analyst led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four championships.

Brady, of course, surpassed that number several years ago and increased his lead this past season as he led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win Super Bowl LV, the seventh time he’s been able to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. However, it appears that Bradshaw and Brady are connected by more than just Super Bowl success.

According to a tweet from blog Quirky Research, Bradshaw once checked into a hospital in his home state of Louisiana under the name “Thomas Brady” — or, you know, Tom Brady.

Bradshaw checked into the hospital to undergo a minor elbow surgery on March 3 and was released two days later. But regardless of those details, it’s wild to consider that he used the alias he chose.

Considering that Tom Brady was five years old at the time that Terry Bradshaw checked into the Louisiana hospital, there wasn’t even an inkling that Brady would become the greatest quarterback of all time. After all, he wouldn’t see an NFL field until 17 years after Bradshaw used the name.

What does this mean? Well, it could mean that Bradshaw is in touch with some sort of metaphysical realm that allowed him to see into the future and subtly predict the greatest quarterback in league history. Or it could be just an unbelievable coincidence.

Given this revelation, though, maybe we should expect to learn somewhere down the line that Brady or another great quarterback of this passing generation of signal-callers checked into a hotel using the alias “Patrick Mahomes”. That’s how these things work, right?
