NFL Draft 2021 Pro Comparisons: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah → Jamal Adams

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah → Jamal Adams

With his size (6-foot-2, 216 pounds), there’s a chance that Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah might just end up as a safety at the NFL level one day. But during his college career at Notre Dame, he was listed as a linebacker and a very good one.

At Notre Dame, Owusu-Koramoah lined up just about everywhere on the field to do every and anything his coaches asked of him. He made a number of plays in the opposing backfield that included sacks, pressures, and tackles for loss.

Some aren’t sure what position he will play in the NFL and this might cause him to slip in the draft a bit. But whoever ends up with him will land a guy who just tends to make plays on the defensive side of the ball more often than not.

Why he compares to Jamal Adams:

Currently, with the Seattle Seahawks, Jamal Adams is listed as a safety on the depth chart. Throughout the course of a game, however, Adams is doing things that could be classified as duties of a linebacker.

Adams is a unique defender that not only excels in pass coverage but as a blitzer as well. This is something that a number of people have also said about Owusu-Koramoah when looking back at his time out on the field at Notre Dame.
